“Love, affection and care are the words that comes from one word passion.” This is an inspirational teaching philosophy given by Ms. Rio Diaz during the seminar held in Kevin’s Balong Event Center last October 5, 2017.
Along with the celebration of world teacher’s day, the college of teacher education celebrated its two-day annual Future Mentor’s Guild Festival in the college gymnasium last October 5-6, 2017 with the theme, “Empowering Future Educators through Unity and Collaboration towards Excellence.” Ms. Rio Diaz – Master Teacher II Dumpay National High School, Dr. Reynaldo D. Agcaoili – Education Supervisor II, CHED-ROI and Mr. Philip Gannaban Umacam – Review Director, Star Center were the guest speakers of the said event.
Dr. De Guzman earned her Bachelor of Secondary Education at the Pangasinan Normal School. After earning her bachelor’s degree, she took up Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management at San Carlos College and afterward attained her doctorate degree in Education at the Lyceum-Northwestern University. Dr. De Guzman was a former Principal at Bayaoas Integrated School, Urbiztondo, Pangasinan and San Carlos College’s Basic Education.
