Academic Excellence Scholarship

This are tuition fee discount given to students who earned academic distinctions during graduation in senior high school.

The following are the granted discounts:

  • With Honors - 30% discount
  • With High Honors - 50% discount
  • With Highest Honors - 75% discount

Procedures:

  1. Grantees will accomplish the Scholarship Form in the Office of Scholarship and Job Placement Coordinator.
  2. The student must submit the certificates granted by previous school.
  3. Recommendation and evaluation will be made by the dean and Scholarship Coordinator.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Grantees have to maintain grade averages with no grade below 2.50 in any course. All academic scholars must maintain a weighted grade point of not less than 1.75 to maintain their scholarships. Scholars should carry the full regular load for the semester prescribed and should not drop any course just to maintain at all times.
  2. Academic scholars should also conform to all school rules and regulations at all times.
  3. A scholar who fails to maintain his/her GPA or who has under loads or drops a subject, shall not be eligible to avail of the scholarship grant in the next semester.

Activity Grants (Drum and Bugle Corps, Editor-in-Chief & Sports)

These are scholarship grants on tuition fees to students who excel in Sports and belong to the school team, students who are deemed qualified to be regular performing members of the Institution's Drum and Bugle Corps and to the Editor in Chief of the school paper (The Clarion).

The following are the granted discounts:

  • DBC Scholar - 100% discount
  • Sports Scholar:
    • National Meet - 21 Free Units
    • Regional Meet - 15.75 Free Units
    • City Meet - 10.5 Free Units
  • Editor-in-Chief - 100% discount

Procedures:

  1. Grantees will accomplish the Scholarship Form in the Office of Scholarship and Job Placement Coordinator.
  2. Recommendation and evaluation will be made by the dean, coaches and/or sports coordinator, school paper adviser and Scholarships and Job Placement Coordinator.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Grantees have to maintain a GPA not lower than  2.50 with no subjects dropped or failed for the term. Failure to maintain these grades can be grounds for disqualification from the activity grants.
  2. Students who avail of activity grants should attend practices / meetings regularly and diligently.
  3. Students under these grants have in addition to preparing regularly for the performance or in the case of the editor-in-chief, the timely release of a good school paper.
  4. Grantees must obey all school rules and regulations and must not be accused of any misdemeanor or convicted of violation of the prevailing school rules and regulations.
  5. Grantees must take full loads.

Student Assistant Grants

These are tuition fee discounts that may be availed by students who give their services to the school. Maximum of eighteen (18) units are given to the student for the regular semester and six (6) units for the summer term.

Procedures:

  1. Grantees will accomplish the Scholarship Form in the Office of Scholarship and Job Placement Coordinator.
  2. Recommendation and evaluation will be made by the dean, and Scholarships and Job Placement Coordinator.
  3. To maintain the grant, students must report regularly and diligently to work and must not drop any course or incur any failing grade.
  4. The Student Assistant shall provide a monthly performance report to the office head where he/she is assigned, copy furnish to the Office of the Scholarship and Job Placement Coordinator.

Benefits for Immediate Family of Employee

Under this scholarship grant program, immediate family members of eligible employee on the institution can avail of a 30% discount on tuition fee.

Guidelines / Conditions:

  1. Grantees will accomplish the Scholarship Form in the Office of the Scholarship and Job Placement Coordinator, attach with evidence of relationship of the employee.
  2. Recommendation and evaluation will be made by the dean/s and Scholarships and Job Placement Coordinator.
  3. Should the employee resign during the school term, he/she will automatically lose the grant and shall become liable for the entire tuition fee.
  4. Grantees must take full loads.

Sibling Scholarship

At least three siblings who are enrolled in the institution for the current semester can avail of this scholarship grant.

Guidelines / Conditions:

  1. Grantees will accomplish the Scholarship Form in the Office of the Scholarship and Job Placement Coordinator.
  2. When officially enrolled, the siblings must submit their enrolment form and birth certificate to justify and verify the veracity of their relationship.
  3. Recommendation and evaluation will be made by the dean/s and Scholarship and Job Placement Coordinator.
  4. The grantee (usually the youngest siblings) can avail of a 50 tuition fee discount. If one of the siblings transfers / exits from the institution for the current semester, the grantee student shall become liable for the entire tuition fee.
  5. Grantees must take full loads.
